WeeLee International is the distributor of OLIVEIRA SÁ Steel Wire Rope to the Taiwanese Fishing Industry.

The Company OLIVEIRA SÁ was established in 1825 and is owned by the same family since its start. OLIVEIRA SÁ is the oldest Portuguese manufacturer of synthetic and steel wire ropes in the world.

OLIVEIRA SÁ has two different divisions: the steel wire rope division and the synthetic fibre division with two factories one in Maia and the other in Paredes. Both factories are certified according to ISO 9001.

In the WIRE ROPE DIVISION OLIVEIRA SÁ produces practically all constructions from 4mm up to 100mm. Oliveira Sá has a Quality Assurance System according to NP EN ISO 9001:2000, and is certified under the number 96/CEP.380 by APCER which is member of IQNET. The company has a modern laboratory where tests and studies are carried out, well ahead of applicable International Standards requirements. The company's premises in Maia are approved by Lloyd's Register of Shipping for the production of steel wire ropes up to 60 mm.

OLIVEIRA SÁ is a well known manufacturer of fishing wire ropes and has an important share of the world market.

WeeLee International imports the Super Yellow Fin type of Oliveira Sá Steel Wire Rope:

Super Yellow Fin is an extremely strong compacted steel wire rope. Its utilization is particularly recommended for applications where the following characteristics are necessary:

• Higher resistance to abrasion
• Higher resistance against crushing
• Higher resistance to fatigue
• Higher breaking strength
• Reduced wear when passing through pulleys and drums
• Lower tendency to untwist
• Less elongation of wire rope when it is working.

• 6 X K26Seale Warrington - CF Comprised of Six Strands wrapped around a fibre core. Each individual strand is made up of 26 individual wires.
