Our fleet is one of the largest volume fleets in the world and is a major player in the world tuna industry. Our fishing division has an extensive history in Taiwan. We were instrumental in establishing the Taiwanese fishing industry and have lead the industry in new technology, methods and innovation for almost 40 years. We presently use helicopters aboard our purse seiners to spot fish as well as satellite oceanography information to find fish.

In addition to our fleet of purse seiners, we also own and operate a 5,300 T Reefer Carrier and one clean oil product tanker. Our ships operate in the waters of the Western Central Pacific Ocean which includes the waters of the Solomon Islands, Papua New Guniea, Kiribati, Marshall Islands and Micronesia. Fong Seong's trade partners in the Far East include Itochu of Japan; Tri-Marine and Thai Union of Thailand and Century Canning Company of the Philippines. Furthermore, we are active, contributing members of the World Tuna Purse Seine Organization (WTPO) and fully support their efforts in tuna preservation and conservation. We have also been active with the Convention on the Conservation and Management of Highly Migratory Fish Stocks in the Western and Central Pacific Ocean (WCPFC) and have participated in the preparatory meetings to establish the administrative framework for the new Commission.
